Fun at Gamma's

Here are a few pictures of Sophia around Gamma's house (now in Spokane). She really loves going to see Gamma, the fish, and all the kitties. Unfortunately, it has been so hot that she doesn't get to spend as much time outside as she would like.

Here she is helping to pull the cart full of tools...off to fix somethin'.

She often doesn't get too excited about ice cream (in a bowl) but, lately if it is in a cone or on a stick...then bring it on. I was eating this creamsicle when she asked for 'creamy' as she calls it. Keep in mind that she was already stripped to her b-day suit because she had been running around in the sprinkler and her diaper was soaked. She very much prefers her nakedness to any thread of clothing. Apparently, I too stripped off my clothes and ran around the yard naked when I was a toddler.

"yummy, that's good stuff!" Progressively getting more messy...

Just thought I would show you all the drips that are running off her belly onto the deck.

I love this last shot. I am not sure about the look but, you can see that she is a mess. Dirt and streams of creamsicle on her face and down her belly. This called for another bout of running through the sprinkler.

Just a Few Fun Fotos

Sophia will often ask for 'snack' while taking her bath. She usually asks for her favorite...strawberries or peaches.

She easily climbs around on all sorts of toys these days. We take her to parks as often as possible. This is one of our favorites because it has big swings, slides, and a bridge walk across. We recently found a new park that is not as cool but offers great shade.

Sophia loves to be as naked as she can get away with. She also loves to play catch with balloons.

Doesn't she look too cool? Kicked back in her carseat and eating grapes with her birthday shades set back on her forehead.

Sophia Birthday Part 1

Here are a few photos from Sophia's 2nd birthday. We had a small BBQ at Gamma's house, and Sophia had a great time. Thanks to everyone who sent cards, gifts, and best wishes.

Sophia ate a few of her favorite foods for her birthday dinner. She enjoyed steak, hamburger, cantalope, avocado, and corn on the cob!

She was actually a little bashful when we sang to her. She giggled and smiled from ear to ear.

She knew that she had to blow to make the candles go out but, she didn't have enough 'wind' so, momma had to help a little. Yes, she did stick her finger in the frosting as soon as I set the cake in front of her.

Between the cake, frosting, and ice cream, she liked the frosting the most...go figure. She made a absolute mess. Luckily, Gamma has a huge tub for her to 'swim' in (at subsequently get clean).

Sophia Birthday Part 2

Here are a few more photos taken from Sophia's birthday celebration.

She loved her pink-feather boa and sparkly bracelets. They go very well with the cute dress that Great-Grandma Kelly sent.

Lynna gave her a pair of 'toddler' sunglasses, and Sophia thought she was pretty cool!

Papa Barson sent Sophia her very first golf set. Dada is helping out with the first lesson. She rather preffered swinging the clubs around her head and playing catch with the balls.

Another shot of Dada and the potential, green-jacket-wearing, future golfer. This photo also shows a great view of my Mom's property. She is pretty happy with her 9 acres.
